Iconic sneaker silhouettes often carry strong recognizable codes, yet rarely push toward truly experimental material territory. The project aimed to go further through an unconventional approach to materials and a stronger visual narrative.

I designed a volcanic-inspired urban hiking sneaker conceived for extreme environments, combining chrome and reflective finishes to create a futuristic aesthetic. Velcro straps replace traditional laces to reinforce both functionality and modernity. The chromed packaging, referencing scientific field equipment used in volcanology, extends this visual narrative into a cohesive and immersive product experience.
