National runway
I developed a visual campaign for Carel Paris exploring Bastille Day through a surrealist and pictorial lens rather than a literal or event-driven one. The project translates the codes of the French national holiday, the tricolor, the parade, the fireworks, into a coherent visual universe built on scale, concealment, and displacement, treating the shoe itself as the central character of each image rather than a mere product accessory. The creative direction is anchored in a single structuring reference, René Magritte, whose motifs of veiled faces, floating objects, and flat painted skies recur across the series.
The work was developed through iterative research and refinement: building an iconographic reference library, structuring concepts through pitch, treatment, and storyboard, writing detailed generative prompts for each image, and progressively correcting realism, proportion, and composition against reference imagery at every stage, resulting in a nine-visual campaign spanning vertical video concepts and a static Instagram series.
