Rémanence is the launch film of Maison Résiduelle, a fictional Paris fashion house I created, along with its identity and its first shoe: a patent crocodile d’Orsay pump with a sphere-and-crystal heel. In this one-minute Halloween film, a pair of legs without a body wakes up, takes the torso of a mannequin, gets ready and leaves the building. At the door, the figure collapses, the building turns out to be abandoned.

I first modelled the shoe in 3D to set its design and keep it consistent from shot to shot. I then generated the characters and every set, each set both intact and in ruins, built the key frames of each shot and animated them with AI video on Higgsfield, before editing, grading and sound design. The project continues with a four-visual campaign using the same 3D shoe and art direction.
